Lady Gertrude FitzPatrick was the subject of the painting 'Collina' by Sir Joshua Reynolds, painted c.1779 when she was aged about 5 years old. 'Collina' is Italian for 'little hill', perhaps a reference to the setting.

Funeral of the late Lady Gertrude Fitzpatrick.
On Thursday week the mortal remains of this amiable lady were interred in the ancestral vault within the Church of Grafton Underwood. The funeral cortege left Farming Woods at 12 o'clock, preceded by 30 of the principal tenantry on horseback. The hearse, decorated with escutcheons, was preceded by her ladyship's horse, caparisoned in sable, and led by a groom, was followed by six mourning coaches and four, containing the Right Hon. R. Vernon Smith, M.P., the Baron Robeck, J. W. Fitzpatrick, Esq., R. W. Fitzpatrick, Esq., Lord Lilford, Sir G. S. Robinson, Bart., Revs. D. F. Hatton, J Miller, Duthy, T. Cooke, G. Carter, and other friends of the deceased. The long procession was closed by the carriages of the Ladies FitzPatrick, Lord Lilford, T. P. Maunsell, Esq. M.P., Lady de Capell Brooke, &c. All the shops and private house in Brigstock and Grafton were closed, and the roads were lined the whole way from the mansion to the sepulchre, a distance of more than five miles, with a dense assemblage of silent and sorrowful spectators. The solemn and affecting service for the dead was performed by the Rev T. Cooke, the rector of the parish, which is in the patronage of the FitzPatrick family. The church was crowded to excess.
