Louise was born on January 8, 1916 in Winnsboro to Percy and Asha Donnell Walters and she passed from this life on March 6, 2008 at St. Francis North Hospital in Monroe.
She was a member of the Crowville United Methodist Church. She loved quilting, crocheting, flowers and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband: John Marshall Wright Sr.; Daughter: Bobbie Jean Vickers; two brothers: Joe Walters, Sr. and Percy Eugene Walters, Jr.; two sisters: Grace Walters and Mary Lois Walters.
She is survived by one son: John Wright, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Sterlington; one daughter: Carol Doherty of Monroe; one brother: Elbert Walters of Fort Worth, TX; one sister: Ruby Bradley of Delhi; five grandchildren: Drew Vickers, Vicki Calhoun, Terri Coleman, Kelley Doherty, and Erin Doherty; two great-grandchildren: Damion Calhoun and his daughter Hailey, and Spencer Vickers.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
