He was born in Manakin Town, VA and was living in Monroe County by 1832 after moving from Elbert County, Georgia.

1. Edna LeSueur (m. Robert Bryan Christian)
2. Samuel LeSueur, Jr. (m. Mary Buer Andrew)
3. James LeSueur, Sr. (m. Nancy Stinson)
4. Jordan/Jourdan B. LeSueur (m. Susannah Stinson)
5. John C. LeSueur (ca. 1788-ca. 1819)

It is "questionable" if Samuel LeSueur, Sr. had a "middle name" of Alexander (no proof/documentation). The Lesseur Foundation is currently researching the circumstances of why he came to Georgia and settled in Elbert (orig. Wilkes Co.) County then afterwards in1830 he had settled in Monroe County.
The Virginia Genealogist, "David LeSueur (1703/04-1771/72) of Manakin Town, Virginia," An Outline of the First Three Genertions of His Descendants as Constructed from Tac Records of the "Burned" County of Buckingham. By Cameron Allen, F.A.S.G., Columbus, OH, Vol. 43; No. 1 (pp 1-22), January - March, 1999.
Pierre Chastain and His Descendants, First Five Generations in America, by Pierre Chastain Family Association, 1995 (Vol I; p. 45).
A thorough July 2021 document search found no proof/documention this particular Samuel had a "middle name." Genealogical standards dictate that if no documentary evidence can be found then claims are not valid. Received a correction of Susan Martin (#487450290 ~ 2019) on my "profile page" to change Samuel LeSueur, Jr'. "middle name" to Alexander and also his date of birth to 1775 (orig. ca. 1775).
I would like to thank Jim Morell for sponsoring our ancestor Samuel LeSueur, Sr.'s, memorial. His thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
