State of South Carolina, Edgefield County
In the name of God, Amen. I, James Lesuer of the state and county aforesaid, being in perfect mind and memory but sick in body, and calling to mind tht it was ordained for all mankind once to die, and where it hath been pleased God to bless me with some worldly goods, I wish First, my desire that my beloved wife Susannah Lesuer may have her living on the land I now live on and at her death I give it to my son Myrtell Lesuer. I lend the remaining part of my estate to my wife that is four head of cattle and a bay colt which is running with my stock and is the right of my son Myrtell and also I lend my legacy with which is to come from my father estate together with the remainder as above mentioned to my beloved wife during her life time or widow hood, at her death to be equally divided between my son and daughter, Francis Bailey or their heirs.
