Domenick Persolio was born Domenico Persoglio in Cassine Italy in 1869. He immigrated to the United States in 1896 on the La Bratagne. He left his wife Teresa (Ricci) in Italy until 1903 while he went to America to make his fortune. He was proceded in death by his daughters Rosa Persoglio (1893-1904), Maria Persolio (1911-1922) and Catherine (1904-1934).
He was survived by his wife, Sons Giacomo (James)(1897-1940) and Francis Aloysius (1905-1977)daughters, Giovanna (Jennie)(1899-1995), Giuseppina (Josephine Penna) (1902-1968), Teresa Nardo (1906-1994), Clotilda DiJoseph (1908-1999)and grandchildren Carl Penna, Teresa Penna, Conrad Persolio, Anna Maria Persolio and Frances Jane DiJoseph.
