STAMFORD - Benjamin H. Kenyon, 65, of Bruce Hill Road died unexpectedly Monday at his home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Hall Funeral Home, Stamford, with the Rev William R. Phinney, pastor of Stamford Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be later in Stamford Cemetery.

He was born April 5, 1901 in Blenheim, a son of Grant and Sue (Mattice) Kenyon. He married Bertha Sulzer on Sept 26, 1926 in Kingston. He had been a resident in Bruce HIll Road for the last two years, formerly living in Cornell Hollow, Town of Jefferson. He was a self-employed livestock dealter.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Walter Gildersleeve of Okinawa; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Florence Van Vorhis of Bellsville, Maryland, Mrs Leroy Webster of Maryland, and Mrs Milton Stevens of Prattsville; one brother, Charles of Cobleskill; and several nieces and nephews.
ADDED ENTRY: As of September 1, 2017, the deceased is now only survived by his daughter, Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Gildersleeve of Bowie, MD and her two daughters, Valerie and Linda of the same address, and her two sons Larry and Steve (address not known).
