She was born February 14, 1938, in Rolla, a daughter of the late Raymond and Pearl Lucille (Cannady) Bales. On February 14, 1959, she married George Rae Dotson who preceded her in death on April 6, 1983.
Bonnie was a 1957 graduate of Smith Cotton High School. She was a member of Emmett Avenue Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors and was happiest when she was fixing fence, mowing, or working with livestock. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by four children; a brother, seven grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two siblings: Sam Bales and Peggy Self.
A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
