Inscription
In this vault lie the remains / of Richard, Lord Gowran / who died 25 June 1727 / of Anne Robinson his wife / Heiress of Farmingwood and Grafton / who died 24 November 1744 / and of John their son who was born in 1719 / created earl of Upper Ossory in 1751 / and died 25th September 1758 / Evelyn Leveson Gower, his relict / died at Montauban in France in 1763 / and was buried there, being at that time / the wife of Richard Vernon Esqre.
Gravesite Details
In the Chancel, on the north wall near altar rails, a bas-relief in white marble by R. Westmacott R.A., representing two kneeling females, weeping and holding between them a medallion portrait of, probably the last Earl of Upper Ossory.
