Rose Mildred Lafleur Poret, a native of Opelousas and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the age of 94. Mildred retired from Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse, where she worked for many years.
Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 24, 2013, from 5pm until 8pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at St. Patrick Catholic Church from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am officiated by Rev. Jerry Martin and Rev. Mark Ledoux. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ross F. Poret, Sr., and four sisters and three brothers.
