OBITUARY Nov 1, 1918Joseph B. Handley was born near Osgood, Missouri October 14th 1894 and died at Prescott, Arizona. October 16, 1918, age 24 years and 5 days.He came to Oklahoma with his parents in 1908, where he lived until he answered his country's call and went into military service and was sent to Arizona. Here he contracted influenza, which developed into pneumonia.

He remained a faithful servant of the cause of Justice until he time of his death.

He leaves to mourn his death, a father, mother, 3 brothers and 7 sisters and a host of friends.The funeral services were held at the Chenoweth/Rromblee Undertaking parlor, Tuesday Oct 22, conducted by Rev Charles Alger. The body was laid to rest in the Elmwood cemetery family plot.
