Funeral services for John Holst, 58, who passed away Sunday morning at St. Mary’s hospital, Green Bay, following a short illness were held Wednesday afternoon at the Pfeffer Funeral home here with Rev. E. L. Hennig officiating. Burial was made in the New Holstein cemetery.

Mr. Holst was born Nov. 24, 1885, in Chilton Town. For the past 3 years he was employed at the Brillion Iron Works.

Survivors are 3 sisters, Mrs. Ella Bartel, Potter; Mrs. Adolph Schroeder, Chilton; Mrs. George Smithers, Fond du Lac; 2 brothers, Louis of here and George of Kiel. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
