"Worcester, May 25---Mrs. Owen C. Mowers died at 6:30 o'clock this morning at her home on the Decatur road in this village. Death was the result of a shock she suffered Monday evening. Funeral services will be held from the Tillapaugh Funeral parlors in Schenevus Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Rev. E. L. Martin of the Worcester Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery here. Iva L. Kenyon was born in Blenheim June 21, 1891, a daughter of Grant Kenyon and Susie Mattice. She and Mr. Mowers were married at Gilboa March 22, 1911, and she had since that time been a resident of Worcester. Surviving are Mr. Mowers; six children, Marie, a junior in the Oneonta Normal school; Charles, William, Kenneth, Gordon, and Mildred, all residing at home; her father, a resident of Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Van Voorhis, Decatur; Mrs. Leroy Wheeler, Jefferson; and Mrs. Milton Stevens, Schoharie; two brothers, Benjamin Kenyon, Jefferson, and Charles K., Schenevus.
